Karina Rose Creative, LLC began in 2010 after 11 years of working as a graphic designer for private companies and businesses. From designing for Target Corporation to the local jeweler down the street, the work I've done as a designer always keeps me on my toes. I can't wait to see what fun and unique pieces I can create for my clients next.
Work History
• Clients include businesses in the printing, non-profit services, apparel, and restaurant industry
• Creation of custom business stationery sets using original artwork for a well-known national mass retailer
• Invitation, announcement and greeting card design for national marketing group to present to mass retailers

Masterpiece Studios • 2007-2009
Responsible for creating greeting card, social stationery and scrapbook designs as well as catalogs and advertising materials
• Designed and illustrated new products for mass retailer accounts such as Walmart, Target, Michaels, AC Moore, Papyrus and TJ Maxx
• Partnered with marketing and purchasing team on development of unique stationery products
• Designed presentation materials and story boards for presentation to mass retailer accounts
• Created detailed mock-ups to provide realistic proof to customers for presentations
• Refreshed purchased artwork to develop new and unique designs
• Designed catalogs and advertising materials for multiple Masterpiece Studio brands
• Attendance at national industry trade shows to identify trends and conduct market research
The Occasions Group • 2004-2007
Responsible for advertising design and photography styling
• Designed catalogs and promotional materials for wedding, holiday and occasion brands including Carlson Craft and Masterpiece Studios
• Styled photography for wedding, holiday and occasions products for advertising pieces, purchase of coordinating props for photo shoots
• Created original corporate logos for different brands
• Illustration of original artwork for imprints on wedding and occasions products
• Participation in volunteer group projects, such as the social committee, redecorating project, team building committee and other projects promoting teamwork and efficiency
H&L Printing • 2003-2004
Responsible for design, sales, clerical, pre-press, bindery and finishing of design projects
• Met with clients throughout design process including developing art direction, providing a proof and obtaining feedback for design job
• Designed various print projects for wide variety of customers
• Pre-press set up of each job including creating a flat, using a horizontal camera, and creating negative film
• Bindery and finishing tasks as needed using commercial stapler, cutter, folder
Minnesota Inventors Congress • 2002-2003
Responsible for design of advertising pieces as well as clerical and event planning
• Coordination with Board of Directors to develop marketing strategies and art direction for trade show
• Designed advertising pieces for trade show as well as other events throughout the year
• Interacted with inventors and provided assistance as needed for the invention development process
• Member of the Board of Directors from 2003-2009
• Received Award for Service in 2008
The Redwood Gazette / Wabasso Standard • 1998-2001
Responsible for design of newspaper advertisements, pagination and proofreading
• Designed newspaper ads and multi-page circulars for a variety of customers
• Layout and design of special newspaper sectionals
• Pagination and layout of newspaper, proofreading stories
I have a strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, and have experience working in pretty much any design software ever made.
